First Series of NASCO Seminars Announced

As part of the project's dissemination activities the first batch of NASCO seminars is being planned for mid 2007, the exact date and venue for these workshops to be announced soon. Interested individuals, whether finance managers responsible for preparing corporate financial statements, auditors or trainers/lecturers in accountancy, are invited to express interest in attending these seminars by filling out the online registration form.

The first group of seminars will last two days each and be held in Baku and several regional towns. These seminars will introduce and elaborate on the accounting principles included in the three NASCOs so far approved by the Ministry of Finance:
NASCO 1 - Presentation of Financial Statements,
NASCO 2 - Statement of Changes in Equity,
NASCO 5 - Cash Flow Statement.

Further NASCOs including the Conceptual Framework of NASCOs may be added to the list of standards covered by the first series of seminars.
